Alisa Teletović is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian and Australian visual artist whose internationally exhibited practice explores themes of memory, identity, migration, belonging, and human resilience. Drawing from her lived experience of war displacement and life as a refugee, she has transformed a deeply personal journey across continents into an artistic practice dedicated to cultural dialogue, human connection, and shared understanding.

After spending seventeen years in Australia, where she established an independent artistic career and graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne, Teletović returned to Bosnia and Herzegovina with a commitment to strengthening the role of art within society. Her work reflects both personal history and broader collective experiences, creating spaces for reflection, empathy, and exchange.

At the heart of her practice is an ongoing exploration of expressive and intuitive mark-making. Through layered compositions and emotionally charged surfaces, Teletović constructs visual narratives that encourage viewers to engage with their own memories, experiences, and inner landscapes.
