Florence Sartori

Florence Sartori’s artistic practice has developed at the intersection of multiple creative disciplines. Immersed from an early age in an environment shaped by musicians, dancers, actors, and visual artists, she cultivated a deep appreciation for artistic exchange and a multidisciplinary understanding of creative expression. These influences continue to inform her work, where the body and movement remain central themes.

Through training in various workshops and the mastery of terracotta and bronze techniques, Sartori gradually established a distinctive sculptural language rooted in both technical expertise and poetic sensitivity.

Her practice centers on the representation of the female body, drawing particular inspiration from the expressive qualities of dance. Through her sculptures, she explores gesture, balance, internal tension, fluidity, and the relationship between the body and the surrounding space. The resulting forms capture moments of movement and stillness, revealing the subtle dynamics that shape human presence.

Florence Sartori’s sculptures embody a vision of femininity that is both free and timeless. Balancing abstraction with sensuality, her work offers a refined yet dynamic interpretation of the contemporary female experience, inviting viewers to engage with themes of strength, grace, and transformation.
