Ihart’s creative foundation is rooted in design, holding academic qualifications in both graphic design and fabric design. While painting has been a central passion throughout her life, it is a practice she has returned to more recently, embracing it as a renewed form of personal expression and artistic exploration.

Working as a painter for the past year and a half, Ihart approaches the medium with a strong sensitivity to materiality and surface. Her works are distinguished by the use of texture, reflecting a deep appreciation for structure, depth, and tactile experience. Drawing on her design background, she explores the relationship between smoothness and roughness, often building layered surfaces through plaster, sanding, and the application of color. These processes create subtle three-dimensional effects that invite viewers to engage with the physical presence of the work.
