Gracinha “Inha” Arceo (b. 1994) is a contemporary artist from the Philippines whose practice moves between playfulness and emotional depth. Exhibiting internationally, from Manila to New York, London, Madrid, Lisbon, and Monaco, she brings a distinctly Filipino perspective to an expanding global artistic dialogue.
Arceo refined her practice through classical training in drawing and painting at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy. Working primarily with oil and acrylic, she combines a foundation in figurative art with an expressive visual language characterized by bold color, fluid forms, and dynamic energy.
Through her work, Arceo explores emotion and the evolving nature of identity, translating personal experience into compositions that resonate beyond the individual. Her practice encompasses both personal and collective aspirations, seeking to elevate Filipino art on the international stage, encourage creative expression, and honor cultural heritage through a contemporary perspective.
For Arceo, painting becomes a space for empowerment, connection, and emotional truth, where individual identity and cultural experience converge through color, form, and expression.
