Vago

Vago is an Italian artist whose practice is centered on the exploration of human emotion through painting. Born in Rapallo and raised in Milan, the artist developed an early passion for visual expression, cultivating a self-taught painting practice from childhood. Living in culturally significant cities including Rome, Venice, and Genoa further enriched this artistic development, providing a lasting connection to Italy’s rich artistic heritage.

Alongside a sustained commitment to painting, Vago pursued studies in communication and the helping professions, with a particular focus on the emotional dimensions of human experience. These parallel paths converge within the artist’s practice, where painting becomes a means of translating complex emotional states into visual form.

Working through the expressive language of color, shape, and composition, Vago seeks to make emotions tangible, accessible, and universally recognizable. Each work is conceived as an invitation to connect on an emotional level, encouraging viewers to engage with their own inner experiences while reflecting on the shared nature of human feeling.
